The process begins with venipuncture to draw blood from the individual, which is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells, white cells, and plasma. This procedure typically lasts between 45 minutes and an hour. Most clients are advised to undergo 2-3 treatment sessions, with the possibility of additional treatments based on individual needs. To maintain optimal results, regular touch-up sessions may be recommended. The key component of this therapy is the platelets, which are tiny cell fragments involved in the clotting and healing process. When i-PRF is injected into the targeted treatment area, it releases essential growth factors that facilitate tissue repair and regeneration, enhancing the body's natural healing capabilities.
Difference between PRP and iPRF
